Services & Programs

Footcare Clinic

The program serves those who are unable to care for their own feet due to age or illness, and is made possible by the assistance of volunteer foot care staff.

Treatment Includes:

  •  Assessment
  •  Clipping and filing of nails
  • Treatment of corns, calluses, ingrown and thickened nails
  • Preventative foot care for high risk clients with diabetes, arthritis or impaired circulation
  • Health teaching.

The clinic is held at our Pathways to Housing location each Wednesday afternoon from 1:30 to 3:00 pm.

How to access foot care:

Boyle McCauley Health Centre patients are eligible to attend the foot care program, generally by referral.

Visits are by appointment, but some walk-ins are seen if they can be accommodated. Footcare is also provided on an on-going basis in emergency situations by our clinic LPNs and in the woundcare clinic.
